| When: October 12 (Friday), 6:00 p.m. Pre-Halloween Viy-Cherinka: A Russian horror movie screening and a Costume party/kvartirnik  Don’t you love being scared? - That’s right, there can never be enough of good horror, for it makes us feel SO secure and comfortable when the lights in the room finally go on and "The End” line appears on the screen... Let’s get together to watch a Russian horror movie (in Russian, with English subs) and to enjoy a costume party. An ideal costume for this gathering would be one of some recognizable Russian monster/boogie-man (or woman). The creator of the most ingenious/witty/elaborate costume will receive a special Halloween prize.
